New Guidelines for Antibiotic Premed Patients

The American
Heart Association has just come out with new guidelines for
when to take antibiotic premedication before dental appointments.
It is very different regarding who needs to be premedicated. In
most instances those who took premed before may not need to take
it now, however you should review this with your current dentist
or us before not taking your premedication. The new guidelines
were published in the June
issue of the Journal of the American Dental Association. |
